Meet with local government staff to completely explain the proposal and obtain insight into initial concerns of staff, officials and/or public

Read and re-read local ordinances and review relevant codes pertaining to corridor plans, environment protection, historic and scenic view/

Visit the site and observe the local environment and adjacent development

Drive a 2-mile radius of the site to be sure no other alternatives exist and be prepared to respond to questions about the vicinity and alternatives

Take many pictures of the area

Meet with area residents and listen to their concerns

7.

Prepare a simple presentation that addresses established public policy

8.
|
Prepare coverage plots and have sufficient hand-outs for the audience

Prepare simulated photographs of the site before and after the new structure

10.
|
Be prepared to offer alternatives in design, location and style of tower
