STEALTH® has contracted Hughes Space and Communications Company to perform independent 3rd party testing of the RF transparency properties of our products. The ongoing series of tests are being performed in attempt to continually improve existing and develop new products for the purpose of antenna concealment in the wireless communications industry.
Our RF Testing represents signal insertion loss due to our panels being placed in the direct path of the RF signal. The graphs have been reduced to particular frequency ranges in the interest of making them easier to interpret and to demonstrate the frequency range for which each panel is most “RF Friendly”. The results show attenuation loss (0 dB being the baseline) when the RF signal travels through the StealthSkin™ V, MW01, and MW02 panels. Note that an incidence angle of zero refers to the condition where the antenna’s signal direction is perpendicular to the panel face.
